WIT!! What is This/That, the Rules
I’m starting a new series of blog posts called WIT (WHAT IS THIS, or WHAT IS THAT). As is I find something that I think is cool, lame, interesting, boring, and or otherwise intriguing and I’ll take a piece of it post it here and leave it up you, my readers, to fight out the details of what it is.
Anybody who reads this blog should take a crack at figuring out as much about this picture as you can.
Oh did I mention that there may or may not be prizes. I’m thinking about handing out amazon mp3 credits to the author of a comment that I find to be particularly funny, overwhelmingly accurate, or otherwise prize worthy. Think of it as a online version of apples to apples where I supply prizes!
If there are several comments that merit free stuff then I will randomly select one a winner using a closed source, proprietary random comment selecting algorithm (please note this algorithm is not open to public audit). So even if someone has already put the correct answer you should still respond for a chance to win.
If you decide to guess more than once I will probably chose the least awesome of your answers so giving multiple answers will only hurt you, unless I’m looking for totally lame answers, in which case I’ll take the best of your answers and you’ll still lose. Basically don’t try to cheat.
Also this goes without saying but I can change any of the rules whenever I want and I don’t have to provide you with written notice. Finally WITing has been known to cause cancer in lab rats so WIT at your own risk.

Updated Feb 3, 2010 So amazon has a $5 minimum on gift cards so I can’t give out the $1 prizes like I wanted to. I’ll figure something out before the next prize laden WIT takes place.
